Spring 2009 MCDB Graduation

On May 8, 2009 over 5,000 students graduated from CU Boulder and of those, 128 were MCDB graduates.  The MCDB Ceremony was held on Sewall Lawn and followed the university ceremony.  The day quickly turned windy and chilly but over 700 people comprised of our MCDB graduates and their families were at the ceremony enjoyed the morning and celebrated their fine accomplishments.
"Commencement does not mean, as many wrongly think, the breaking of ties and the beginning of life apart. Rather, it marks your initiation in the fullest sense into the fellowship of the university, as bearers of her torch, as centers of her influence, as promoters of her spirit."
