This course introduces key concepts in life science

          • characteristics, structure, and chemistry of living things
          • DNA, genetics, and evolution
          • population and community ecology (energy flow, food webs)
          • ecosystem ecology (nutrient cycles, human impacts)
          • the brain, nutrition, and infectious diseases
