John Konhilas

The overall goal of my project in the Leinwand Lab is to delineate the molecular signaling pathways in pathological and physiological cardiac hypertrophy.  To study this, we are using murine models of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and voluntary cage wheel exercise and examining the impact each of these factors on cardiac structure/function and the specific hypertrophic signaling pathways.
