2007 MCDB Retreat

The 2007 MCDB retreat will be held at the Beaver Run resort and conference center in Breckenridge, CO from October 12th through 14th 2007. This event will feature exciting student and faculty speakers.

General Retreat Information

Short talks:

Talks will be 16 minutes plus 4 minutes for Q&A. Time limit will be strictly enforced. Please bring your presentation on a CD or USB device. Either Mac or PC is fine

Posters:

Recommended size is 44 inches by 44 inches. There are two poster sessions split by alphabetical order (last name of the person presenting the poster). If you are on Poster Session I on Friday night, please make sure to arrive early on Friday afternoon and hang your poster before dinner

Check Out Time:

Please keep in mind that all department personnel must be checked out of their rooms by 11:00 am on Sunday. You may either bring your bags to the meeting room, return them to your vehicle, or have the bell staff at the hotel store them until you are ready to leave. You could get charged for an additional day if you have not vacated your room by the proper time. Please note the department will not be responsible for the additional charges.
